Instructions

To Report an Absence

To report an absence, please call the 24-hour attendance line at 669-369-4205 or email huertaattendance@scusd.net

Please include the following information:

1. Student's First and Last Name 
2. ID Number 
3. Date of absence
4. Detailed reason for absence (illness, medical appointment, etc)
5. Caller's name, phone number, and relationship with the student.

Please Note

• If a reason is not provided, the absence will be considered unexcused.

• You have 72 hours to report an absence before it is marked as unexcused. After the 72 hour period, the absence will remain unexcused and can not be changed. 

• Absences that are not due to illness or medical appointments are considered unexcused.

• Absences due to illness exceeding 3 consecutive days, will require a doctor's note to be excused.
